SNOW SNOW LET IT SNOW!!

THIS IS THE FIRST SNOW WE HAVE HAD IN A LONG TIME THAT AMOUNTS TO ANYTHING THAT IS.

On Veteran's Day I took a jaunt down to visit Sandra and Bob Davis in Pulaski TN. It is maybe 100 miles south of Nashville. When Sandra retired from the Post Office in the fall of 2007, they moved closer to their family. I went down 45 to Selmer then across on 64. It was a nice day for a drive even though there were bouts of drizzle. It is a beautiful drive, especially in the fall. the trees were great. They have such a nice house which is filled with their antiques and the quilts that Sandra makes. On the way home I stopped at Nicole and Brian's in Henderson. Anna got her first buck this year so just had to get pix of the antlers.

I finally figured out where i had saved my pictures from the trip to Chicago and North Dakota!
In Sept. Vonnie and Debbie from Chicago, Gail from California (now in IL) and I went on a quick trip to visit my parents and Evelyn. Here are a few of the pix. The lake is at Garrison Dam and the LITTLE stop sign was in Minnesota somewhere. We sure had a good laugh at that one.

HALLOWEEN 08

Here are some pictures from the Annual Halloween Party in Chicago. The decorations were wonderful, Lori & Eddie and Debby & Brian did a wonderful job. Every year there is something new and exciting. Brian did his karaoke and was great as usual. He started off the party with some AC/DC and almost everyone had a good time with the mike. A small crowd enjoyed the good food, drink and music.

Good Morning

Here it is, Sunday morn and I should be trying to be productive!! I am doing laundry so it is not a complete loss. It is a beautiful day in the Mid South. Fall is such a nice time of year, the colors are outstanding. Broken leg (the chicken) is clucking around making some nice background music. Returned from a trip to Chicago and North Dakota this week. Also was burlarized (for the first time) so it was been a stressful time also. Saw Abby play soccer for the first time. Those little ones are so cute out on the field. She will run like the dickens but won't kick the ball. Also had a chance to see Michual play football. It was my first time to watch him play also. All in all, it was a good week. We are having a surprise birthday party for Phil's mom this afternoon.
